Billie Jo (Rash) Szudlo

Billie Jo Rash Szudlo, 50, of Asheville, North Carolina, passed away at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, on August 25th, 2021.  Billie was born on June 9th, 1971, to  William Marion Rash, and Barbara Sue Mitchell Rash, of Cairo, Georgia.  Billie graduated from Cairo Highschool, she was a fantastic cake creator/baker, loved attending concerts with her husband and camping with friends and family and adored her grandbabies and fur babies.

Billie will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 21 years, Frank Szudlo, of Asheville, NC; daughter, Ashtyn Szudlo, of Candler, NC; son, Logan Moore, of Arden, NC; brothers, William Rash (Davina), of Crestview, FL, Jeff Rash (Chasity), of Marianna, FL, Joseph Cogburn (Eva), of Asheville, NC; granddaughters, Braylen and Arya; grandsons, CJ, Carter, Hank; soul sister, Karen Davis (Mickey), of Cairo, Georgia, and six nephews. She is preceded in death by her Father.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that a donation in Billie’s name be made to www.conserveturtles.org in remembrance of Billie's love for sea turtles.
