Bobbie Breedlove York, of Bryson City, North Carolina, died April 21, 2020, at Haywood Regional Hospital. She was eighty-one.

Bobbie was born July 4, 1939, to Mae Minerva DeHart Breedlove and Glen Buford Breedlove in Swain County, North Carolina. She was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church in Bryson City, North Carolina.

Bobbie is survived by her husband of twenty-six years, Gary V. York; her children, Debbie Matthews of Sylva, North Carolina, Becky Cochran and her spouse Lonnie of Bryson City, North Carolina, Randy Cunningham and his spouse Sandy of James Town, Kentucky, and step-son Mike York and his spouse Jennifer of Whittier, North Carolina; siblings Alvin Breedlove and his spouse Maude, Violet Winchester, Hazel Welch, Jean Brooks and her spouse, Don; eleven grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
