Bonnie S. Whitlock

Bonnie S. Whitlock, 74, of Brevard, NC peacefully passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025 in Asheville, NC.

Bonnie was born on January 25, 1951 in Waynesville, NC to the late Hillard Sheehan (1987) and Hattie Watson Sheehan (1991). She is also preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Robert Whitlock; sisters, Pearl Whitmire, Hester Queen; brothers, Dwight Sheehan, Ed Sheehan, Roger Sheehan, and Gregg Sheehan.

Bonnie received her Associated degree in 1999 from Blue Ridge Community College. She loved gospel music, Hallmark videos, and playing games on her tablet.

Surviving Bonnie are her children, Melissa Goede (Eric) of Pisgah Forest, NC, Dale Whitlock (Vessie) of Ocala, FL; siblings, Dan Sheehan (Carol) of Seneca, SC, Edna Bryson of Glenville, NC, and Chet Sheehan of Brevard, NC; grandchildren, Heather Goede of Pisgah Forest, NC, Andrew Goede of Pisgah Forest, NC, Nic Goede (Ash) of Pisgah Forest, NC, Haley Stallings of Franklin, NC, Katie Whitlock (Tony) of Ocala, FL; great grandchildren of Riley Passmore, Sofia Stallings, Athena Phillips, Jackson Phillips; 33 nieces and nephews; and 36 great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on January 3, 2026 at Rosman Church of God. Mike Pressley will be officiating.
