Brenda Joyce Mullinax Bledsoe, 68, of Arden, North Carolina, went to be with the Lord on November 14, 2021 at AdventHealth in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Brenda was born on May 14, 1953 in Buncombe County to Frances E. Alexander Ducker, of Arden, North Carolina, and the late Robert Lee Ducker, who passed away in 2008.
Brenda attended T.C. Roberson High School before going to Asheville Beauty School. She was a retired cosmetologist. She enjoyed trips to the beach, shopping, home decorating, and spending time with her family and friends.
Brenda is preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Bledsoe and her brother, Albert Mullinax. She is survived by her daughter, Annette Calvert Allison (Chris), of Candler, North Carolina; sisters, Donna Ledford and Beverly Haines (Jim), both of Arden, North Carolina; brother, Bobby Ducker, of Arden, North Carolina; granddaughters, Courtney Watts, of Candler, North Carolina and Kristen Allison, of Canton, North Carolina; nephews, Donnie Hart (Kristie), of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Joshua Hart, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Eric Stover (Candy), of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Alex Alexander (Rica), of Mills River, North Carolina; and niece, Caitlin Haines, of Arden, North Carolina.
A celebration of life service, officiated by Pastor Archie Gilmer, will be held at the Oak Grove Christian Church at 2:00 PM on November 27th, 2021. Condolences can be made to family at ashevillemortuaryservices.com
