Brenda Jeanette Hensley

Brenda Hensley, 64, of Weaverville NC, passed away on August 26, 2025. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend whose love and generosity touched countless lives. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren, and nothing brought her more joy than watching them grow. Everyone who knew her knew how proud she was of her family. She was a 'mom or 'nana'  to countless children who found love, comfort, and guidance in her presence. She was a gifted Gardner, a lover of simple beauty, and someone whose door and heart were always open. Known for her selfless spirit, she was always ready to help anyone in need. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed. 

She was preceded in death by her son, Zeke Banks; and mother Brenda Hensley.

She is survived by her children, Mandi Banks, Robert Banks and fiancé Lara Sepulchre; Grandchildren, Shae', Breana, Jaden, Christian, Robbie, Nevaeh, Carson; great grandchildren, Abbygail, TJ, Jaylyn, Kaliah Rose; father, Bobby Hensley; sisters, Rose Lunsford, Debbie Hensley, Tammy Hensley; and many nieces and nephews. 

Though she is no longer with us, the seeds of love she planted will continue to grow. 

Her children rise up and call her blessed - Provers 31:28
