Brian Keith Hanks

Brian Keith Hanks, age 62, of Asheville, NC passed away on February 7, 2025 in Asheville, NC. 

Brian was born on November 7, 1962 in Texas to Johnny Hanks of Conover, NC and Abbie Duplechain of Crowley, LA. He was a graduate of Lafayette High School after which he proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. More recently he was employed as a security guard. 

Brian is preceded in death by his stepparents, Delores Hanks and Dalton Credeur, and nieces, Brooke Wolfe, Sophie and Riley Adkins. 

He is survived by his parents, Johnny Hanks, of Conover, NC; and Abbie Duplechain, of Crowley, LA; brothers, Russell Hanks, of Brookshire, Tx; and Paul Credeur, of Breaux Bridge, LA, and sisters, Christine Wolfe (Michael Wolfe), of Hickory, NC, Cheryl Taylor, of Conover, NC, and Lari Harpe, of Lake Charles, LA.  He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, William Rankin (Sabrina), of Hickory, NC, Brandi Hanks, of Asheville, NC, Kaley Smith (Aaron Smith), of Maiden, NC, Kelend Hawks, of Bellingham, WA, Chloe Wolfe, of Maiden, NC, Brittany Sebastian, Nathan Credeur, Taylor Credeur, Haley Credeur, Renee Harper, Kelsey Harper, Sidney Harper, Keegan Hanks, Matthew Hanks, and Chase Hebert.
