Bruce James Bradley, 92, of Weaverville passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
Bruce was born on November 5, 1932 in Asheville, NC to the late Della G. Bradley (1986) and Ralph P.Bradley (1979). He is also preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Sue Bradley (2021); daughter, Kathy Foster; and son, Ronnie Bradley.
Bruce also resided in Melbourne, FL and Inverness, FL in his lifetime before moving back to Weaverville, NC. Bruce was employed by B&H Metal where he retired in the 1990s. He was affiliated with Grandview Baptist Church. He loved buying and trading vehicles and, in his lifetime, he owned over 80 cars and trucks. In his later years he collected model cars and trucks and loved to display them. Bruce was a people person and loved to tell stories to anyone who would listen.
Bruce is survived by his daughters, Patricia Fisher of Rocky Mount, NC, and Pam Bradley of Weaverville, NC; grandsons, Jamie and Tim Foster of Asheville, NC, Matthew Huskins of Asheville, NC, Jared Fisher of Forest City, NC, and Seth Fisher of Jacksonville, FL; granddaughters, Andrea F. Randall of Burnsville, NC and Emily H. Miles of Barnardsville, NC; great grandchildren, Zoe Collins, Lincoln Downs, Evan Dillingham, Owen Timmons, Forest Miles, Jude Fisher, Sage Fisher, and Lottie Fisher.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to be determined.
