Carl Leslie “Bub” Douglas, Jr. of Pickens, South Carolina, died Friday, September 4, 2020, at the Charles George VA Medical Center. He was sixty-six.

Carl was born March 29, 1954, to Dorothy Juanita Trader and Carl Leslie Douglas, Sr. in Danville, Illinois. He served in the United States Army. Carl loved football and Nascar racing. He was a loving husband to his wife of forty-one years, Wilma Marie Garrett Douglas, and loving his whole family was his life.

Carl was preceded in death by two sisters, Susie Pollard and Connie Lollie.

Surviving him is his wife; step-son David Pridgen and his wife Marlene of Pickens, South Carolina; his sister Patty Speights of Pace, Florida; grandchildren Spencer Pridgen and Orry Pridgen of Pickens, South Carolina, and Olivia Ballester of Simpsonville, South Carolina; and great-granddaughters Austin and Ines of Simpsonville, South Carolina.
