Charles (Charlie) Edward Rigsby, 91, of Lake Toxaway passed away Friday, September 10, at home after a short illness of pneumonia.
He was an Army Veteran, and retired from Lake Toxaway Company after forty years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over fifty years, Rosalee Lovada Rigsby; son, Dwight Charles Rigsby of Lake Toxaway; sisters, Dorothy Lyday of Brevard, and Clara Wilson of Penrose, and brother Frank Rigsby of Rosman; nephews, Kenneth Wilson of Penrose, and James Rigsby of Rosman; and by great-grandsons Bentley Lamar and twin brother Parker James Owen.
Survivors include his daughter, Teresa Rigsby Owen (Leemon), and son, Nathaniel Rigsby (Kimberly); granddaughter Kayla Owen Khoury (Adam), and grandson Derrick Owen (Lindsay); great-grandchildren David Khoury, Elizabeth Khoury, and twins Olivia and Harper Owen, all of Lake Toxaway; and several nieces and nephews.
While no services will be held at this time, a memorial will be held at a later date.
