Corey Jason Snyder

     Corey Jason Snyder, 42, of Candler, NC, passed away Friday, July 3, 2020, at his residence.

     Corey was born in Orange County, New York on September 8, 1977, to Scott Timothy Snyder and Helen Margaret Fisher Snyder. Corey was a driver for Elite Transport. He had an amazing knowledge of history. He loved to spend time with his children and always supported his family and friends.

     Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Helen Snyder of Candler; his father, Scott Snyder of Walden, NY; his wife, Carrie Lyn Chronister Snyder; two sons, James Paul Chronister of Canton, NC and Jason Scott Snyder of Candler; a daughter, Colleen Lyn Snyder of Candler; and a brother, Louis Vega of Candler.

     A memorial service will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 18, 2020 at the Holiday Inn East in Asheville. Joe Yelton will officiate.
