Cynthia Lynn (Byrd) Lance

            On September 13, 2023, while wrapped in the love of her family, Cynthia Lynn Byrd Lance peacefully gained her wings. Cindy was born in Brevard, North Carolina, on October 1, 1956, to the late Wayne and Etta Jean Byrd. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Motto Lance, of Rosman, North Carolina. She is survived by her beloved children, Chris Lance, Colin Lance, Carly Lance, Cathy Fisher, Paige Frazier, and Katina Owen. She also leaves behind three dearly loved siblings, Sarah Floyd, Rhonda (Marshall) Owen, Chuck Byrd, and many loved grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

            Cindy was a loving person, and just like her dad she never met a stranger. Her home was always open to any who wished to enter. She had a wonderful zest for life, and her people meant everything to her. She touched the lives of many people, and will be greatly missed. Heaven truly received a shining star.
