Daniel Lee Williams, 64, left this world on Saturday November 21, 2020
Dan grew up in Charlotte, NC, the son of the late Melvin and Ruth Williams.
He learned from his parents the importance of hard work and family.
As an adult, Dan took a special interest in family history and had a deep appreciation for family stories and mementos.
Dan was an avid lover of music. He was self-taught in many different instruments, and exceled in them all. He loved not only playing music, but also writing songs.
He especially loved to write songs about his life and his family, and many of his songs are stories about his ancestors.
One thing he enjoyed most was to gather with dear friends and play music together.
Dan was a kind soul who instantly made friends with everyone he met.
He was never angry, and always saw the positive things in life.
Dan loved his friends and his family, and especially his beloved dog, Buddy.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Ruth Williams, and brother, Livant Williams.
Dan is survived by his son Jacob Menges and girlfriend Heather Chamberlain.
