David Keith Gribble

David Keith Gribble, 70, passed away on July 3, 2024, in Asheville, NC. David was born on July 1, 1954, to the late Clyde Gribble and Maxine Gribble Hyatt. In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his sister, Diane Gribble Schronce, and his step-father, Frank Hyatt.

David was a graduate of Enka High School and Cecils Business College. He proudly served for six years in the US Army during the Vietnam War. David worked for New York Carpet World and Leicester Carpets. He loved baseball, golf, and bowling.

Surviving David is his loving spouse of 43 years, Teresa Ann Tesner Gribble; son, Matthew Gribble of Asheville, NC, and daughter, Amanda Gribble of Asheville, NC; sister, Deborah Marcum (Frank) of Charlotte, NC; and sister-in-law, Kay Tesner.

A memorial service for David will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 2:00PM at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 962 Old US Highway 70 W, Black Mountain, NC 28711.
