David Lee Metcalf

David Lee Metcalf of Marshall, North Carolina, passed June 2, 2024, at the age of sixty. David was born February 16, 1964, to William and Dorothy Jean Willingham in Asheville, North Carolina.

David attended Asheville High. He followed NASCAR, enjoyed Southern rock and valued time spent with friends. David worked as an HVAC contractor.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a daughter, Destiny Metcalf.

He is survived by a son and a daughter; a grandson; siblings, Dale Cassada (Kathy) of Pomaria, South Carolina, and Gene Metcalf (Kathy), Pam O’Kelly and Charles Willingham, all of Asheville.

A private service will be held at a later date.
