David Porter, aged 78, of Hendersonville, NC, passed away January 6, 2024, in Asheville, NC.

David was born on January 28, 1945, in Asheville, NC, to the late Nell Harrison Porter and William Porter. He was a member of the Air Force and served in the Vietnam War. David worked in management and as a rancher and enjoyed golfing in his free time.

David is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Deneen Porter; and children, Griff (Tina) Porter, Andy (Dawa) Porter of Asheville, NC, Jennifer Chaffee of Atlanta, GA, and Ceara Lane Martinez of Marina Del Rey, CA.
