David D. Wright

     David D. Wright, 76, of Asheville, passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 at Deerfield Episcopal Retirement Community.

     Mr. Wright was born in Apple Creek, Ohio on September 17, 1941 to the late Dencil Ray and Harriet Hope Wright. He was married to his wife of forty two years, Emmy Collins Wright and was a graduate of Indiana University School of Business.

     Survivors include his wife, Emmy Wright of Asheville; two sons, Colton D. Wright of Norwalk, CT and Trevor S. Wright and wife Karen of San Francisco, CA; a sister, Suzanne W. Crook; a brother, John H. Wright; and six grandchildren.

     A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Indiana University (indiana.edu). Asheville Mortuary Services is honored to serve the family.
