Deborah Lynn Leon

Deborah Lynn Leon of Asheville, North Carolina passed away on February 17th, 2025 surrounded by family.

Debbie was born January 3, 1955 in Charleston, Arkansas. She was the first baby born in Franklin county in the New Year 1955.

Debbie enjoyed oil painting, flower gardening and spending time at the beach. She loved her pets, dog Zoey and kitten Brody.

She is proceeded in death by her father, Joe Ray Banning.

She is survived by her loving husband, Brad Leon of Asheville, NC. And her children Amy Lynn Maxwell of Mustang, OK, Jeffrey Gilbreth of Houston, TX, Matthew Gilbreth of Alma, AR, and Sean Leon of Asheville, NC. Her grandchildren Makala Mooney, Madison Maxwell-House, Gavin Maxwell, Gage Gilbreth, and Ashlyn Cole. Her great grandchildren Mazelyn Jade, Journi Kayelyn, Harlow Rae, and Avery Jaide.

She is also survived by her mother, Reba Aline Banning- Salter of Charleston, AR and her siblings, Donna Hicks and Kenny Banning, both of Arkansas.

A private service will be held by the family.
