Debra Regina Ara

Debra Regina “Debbie” Ara, 63, of Asheville, North Carolina passed away peacefully on June 28, 2021, at the John F. Keever Jr. Solace Center in Asheville, North Carolina.  Debbie was born on February 21, 1958, to Ramona L. “Ara” Suttles in Beckley, West Virginia.  Debra loved taking care of animals, listening to country music, and watching nascar.

Surviving Debra is her life partner of 23 years, Kent Masterson; her brothers, David Ara (Kathy Ara), of Lewes, Delaware, Ronnie Suttles (Vickie Suttles), of Swannanoa, North Carolina, Stacey Suttles (Teresa Suttles), of Hendersonville, North Carolina; sister, Vikki Suttles, of Asheville, North Carolina; and her stepson, Matches Masterson, of Raleigh, North Carolina.  Surviving Debra also, is her three nieces, three nephews, and four great-nieces.  Debbie will be missed by many who loved her.
