Derek Lunsford Obituary

Derek “Travis” Lunsford was born August 28, 1981. He departed unexpectedly from us on July 27, 2022 in Black Mountain, NC. Travis was born in Burke County and spent most of his life in Connelly Springs. He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Seymour Lunsford and grandfather, Jack Lunsford. He is survived by his two daughters, Skylynn and Harper Lunsford, his mother Pamela Brown (Doug Brown), and his sisters Megan Lindsey (Matthew Lindsey) and Kaitlyn Stilwell (Dillon Stilwell). He is also survived by his grandmother Beulah Lunsford and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
