Devon Trent Olinger

Devon Trent Olinger, age 26, of Asheville, NC passed away on May 30, 2025 in Asheville, NC.  Devon was born on December 10, 1998 in Asheville, NC to Matthew Olinger, of Woodfin, NC and Lisa Mohler, of Asheville, NC.  Devon was a graduate from Enka Highschool in the class of 2017.
Devon enjoyed going to movies, hiking, and road trips.  He loved Star Wars, Marvel movies, and history.  He also loved his children and was very proud of them.

Devon is preceded in death by his sister, Kali Elizabeth Mae Holderfield, and his grandparents, Rob Strait, Melva Olinger, and Fred Olinger.

Devon is survived by his spouse, Mary Grace Olinger; his three children, Gwendylan Olinger (mother, Abby Parker) , Elliot Olinger (Mother, Lindsay Perkinson) , and Maverick Olinger (mother, Mary Grace) ; his siblings, Jordan Olinger (married to Brianna Olinger), of Fletcher, NC, Emma Claire Holderfield, of Asheville, NC, Abram Mohler, of Asheville, NC, Kyndall Olinger, of Woodfin, NC, and Nathanael Olinger, of Woodfin; his step-mom, Kim Olinger (Matthew Olinger), of Woodfin, NC; step-grandparents, Brenda Harper (Ken Harper), of Woodfin, NC; his step uncle and aunt, Kevin Dowd (Tracie Dowd), of Weaverville, NC; his grandmother, Nancy King of Orlando, FL; and uncle, Keith Strait, of Orlando, FL; his nephews, Oliver Jordan Trent of Fletcher, NC, and Jordy Boe Beckem, of Fletcher, NC; his niece, Ella B. Olivette, of Fletcher, NC; his great aunt and uncle, Rick Wilson and Sharon Wilson, and his uncles, Sean Strait, of St. Petersburg, FL, and Stephen Olinger of Asheville, NC.

A memorial service will be held on June 21, 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Cross Roads Church in Asheville, NC.
