Dian W. (Delp) Patterson Park

Dian W. Delp Patterson Park, age 86, of Springfield, IL, passed away on December 25, 2023, in Asheville, NC, surrounded by family.  She was born on July 19, 1937, in Springfield, IL, to the late Glen E. Delp and Lyda M. Delp.

Dian was married to Edward F. Patterson (deceased) for 25 years, and to Stuart C. Park (deceased) for 35 years. She had a career in advertising with the State Journal Register and retired there. 

Dian was an adventurous, kind hearted, warm, loving, non-judgmental, beautiful soul.  She enjoyed making a beautiful home, gardening, cleaning, cooking, baking, organizing, and more.  Her life’s purpose was to bring and share joy and love with her family.  She will live on in all of us through her love and teachings.

Dian is survived by her six children, Kim Patterson, of Arden, NC, Keith Patterson (Susan), of Waynesville, NC, Karen Olson (Steve), of Dunedin, FL, Kelly Galliher (Allan), of Jacksonville, FL, Kandi Torres (Mike), of Jacksonville, FL, and Kenneth Patterson, of Jacksonville Beach, FL.  She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 aunts, and several cousins.

A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.  Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery will be the place of interment.
