Donald Stephen Gasaway, 47, of Asheville passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021. A native of Buncombe Co., he was the son of the late Ralph Lee Gasaway and Carol Shepherd. Donald was a graduate of Asheville High School and worked for Anvill industries for many years. He is survived by his loving wife Colleen Shannon Gasaway; sons, Christian Stephen Gasaway and Kody Nathaniel Gasaway; daughter, Autumn Long (Justin); son-in-law, David Long; step daughter, Danielle Mayes; Granddaughter, Alessa Long; Grandson, Dante Long; Fred and Chrissy Porter and their children Zachariah, Alex, Sharon, Abigail; great nieces, Rose and Anabelle; Mother and Father-in-law, Mike and Sharon McIntyre; Aunt and Uncle, Sarah and Jack Gassaway; all of his cousins; and all the Gassaway family. Arrangements will be announced to family and friends at a later date.
