Donald McMahan Obituary

Donald Robert McMahan, 79, of Asheville, NC passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at his home with his daughter by his side. He was born January 16, 1947 in Durham, NC. In 2010, he retired from AB Tech after 30 years of service. His favorite sport to follow was football and he was an avid Tennessee Volunteers fan. He is preceded in death by his twin brother, Ronald McMahan, and daughter, Anita Chambers. Surviving is his daughter, Pamela Lipe of Asheville, NC, and his cousin, Sybil Deaton and her spouse, Tom, of Hillsbourgh, NC. No formal services will be held at this time.
