Donald "Don" Hawkins

Don Hawkins, 88, passed away at home on November 29, 2025.  Don is survived by his sons David Hawkins of Asheville and Mark Hawkins (Lynn) of Concord and his grandchildren Matthew and Megan Hawkins.  He was predeceased by his wife, Martie Hawkins, along with his parents, Lee and Mildred Hawkins, and siblings Patricia Howard and Marvin Hawkins.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 4th at Grace Episcopal Church, followed by a reception for family and friends in the Parish Hall.  A private interment will be held in the church’s memorial garden.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Episcopal Church Endowment Fund, 871 Merrimon Avenue, Asheville, NC 28804.
