Doris Johnson Obituary

Doris Lee Johnson, 92, of Asheville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at the John F. Keever Jr. Solace Center, in Asheville, North Carolina. She was born on April 6, 1929, in Greenville, South Carolina.

Doris is preceded in death by her late husband, Rev. Weldon Johnson, and her two sons, Weldon Johnson II and Thomas Johnson.

Surviving Doris are her two grandchildren, David Johnson and Cindie Johnson, and her two great-grandchildren, Jordan Merck, and Joe Fowler.

A service will be held at the Aaron Baptist Church, 266 View St, Asheville, NC 28806, on Saturday, July 24 at 1 PM. Condolences can be made to the family at ashevillemortuaryservices.com
