Doris Jane Jones

Doris Jane Jones went to heaven April 25th, 2024 at home with her husband, son, and daughter-in-law by her side.  Janie was born June 19th, 1953 to the late Jimmy and Violet Jones.  She was preceded in death by Joey and Jerry Jones.

Janie is survived by her husband Ray Earnhardt, son, Nick (Miranda) McCarty, grandchildren, Braxton and Brailynn McCarty, stepchildren, Daniel Earnhardt and Cayla Earnhardt, sister Jackie, brother Jeff, special nieces Casey and Alessa, and a host of family and friends.

If you knew Janie, you loved her.  Heaven truly gained a beautiful person.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, nana, and friend.  She had a kind heart towards everyone and loved her family and friends more than anything.  Her adventurous and outgoing personality took her to many places.  She loved travel and was always ready for the next adventure.  She loved nature, the mountains and the beach, skiing, scuba diving, whitewater rafting, hiking, kayaking, and shooting her bow.

Janie spent years as a traveling nurse taking care of HICU babies.  She was a hardworking and caring nurse who brought smiles to many children and families.  She was so brave and fought so hard.  She will be missed beyond measure.

Heaven definitely got a little sweeter when Janie entered those gates.
