Earl Dale Hornbeck passed away peacefully on April 4th, 2022 in the home that he and his wife both loved. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Frederick Hornbeck after 65 years of marriage, his brother Delbert, and his daughter Sherry. He is survived by his four children: Cindy, Mark and his wife Bonnie, Marci and Pam; His sisters-in-law: Dorothy Hornbeck, Judy Kramer and her husband Tom Kramer, and Sandra Price; His grandchildren: Jerry, Jennifer, TJ, Christine, Breanna, Brenda, Tabitha, and Sarah; several nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren. Dr. Earl Hornbeck served the local community as a dentist for 50 years and was respected by all his patients. He was also an active and devoted member of Tryon Seventh-Day Adventist church. There he served as an Elder, SS teacher, and in other various offices and loved his church family. He enjoyed flying, building model airplanes, motorcycle riding, boating, camping with friends and families, and gardening. In lieu of flowers and gifts, please give donations in support of the Tryon SDA church school and Worthy Student Fund to support the school and families in need of tuition assistance. In addition to the Tryon SDA church where his memorial was hosted, the family would also like to thank Four Seasons Hospice for all the care they gave, and finally all who sent the wonderful sympathy cards. You all have meant so much to our family.
