Elaine Hutchins Obituary

Elaine Hart Hutchins, 55 passed away on June 6, 2023 at 4:35 PM, and went home to be with the lord. After a long battle with cancer, she was surrounded by her loving family at home, and was then welcomed into heaven by her parents, Shirley Louise Hart and John Elmer Hart. Born in 1967, Elaine was a native of Buncombe County living in Swannanoa the majority of her life.

Elaine retired from the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office in 2016. She enjoyed gardening and working in her flower beds, playing with her grandkids and anything to do with her family. She always made everyone feel welcomed and loved!!

She leaves behind a loving husband Robert Keith Hutchins of 40 years (59), Son, Michael Hutchins (36), Daughter, Amanda Hutchins (35), Daughter -N- law, Kaytie Hutchins (35). Elaine’s most precious blessings were her two grandsons, Tyler Lee Hutchins (13), and Carter Reed Hutchins (6). Loving sister Debra Wright and brother -n-Law Charles Wright, bothers Lewis Hart and Eddie Hart, father & mother -n- law Robert & Wanda Hutchins, sister -n- law Vickie Kuykendall Brother -n- law Gary Kuykendall and to many nieces and nephews to name. She loved them all whole heartly!!

A visitation will be held at Penland Family Funeral Home located at 125 South Avenue Swannanoa, NC 28778 on June14th, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00.

Upon Elaine’s request there will not be a memorial service

2nd Timothy 7-8: 7) I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. 8) Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
