Elaine Yvonne McMahan, 60, a resident of Leicester, North Carolina, for the past thirty-one years, died Sunday, March 1, 2020, at Mission Memorial hospital.

Elaine was born in Swain County on March 7, 1954, to Tempie and Robert McMahan. She loved her dogs and her family. Elaine was a member of the Baptist Church.

Elaine is survived by her children, Tempie Savannah Plemmons and Roger Wayne Aaron Plemmons; grandchildren, Elijah Plemmons, Caleb Plammons and Zackery Plemmons; brothers, Lester and Roger McMahan, and sisters Vivian Harwerson and Linda Dehart; and beloved pet Trojan McMahan.

A service will be held for Elaine at eleven o’clock the morning or Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Crisp Funeral Home in Bryson City, North Carolina. Condolences may be shared at AshevilleMortuaryServices.com.
