Elizabeth “Liz” (Brown) Weldner, 72, died in her Spring Creek, NC home on July 30, 2023.

All of her life she returned to Canada Lake, NY, each summer. She cultivated deep and abiding friendships everywhere she lived, and met the love of her life, Bill Weldner, at Fulton-Montgomery Community College. They spent 43 years together and after her death, he followed closely behind her 17 days later. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jean (Ormiston) Brown and her beloved brother, Scott Brown. She is survived by Scott’s children, Hattie and Joshua Brown, as well as her sister and friend, Margaret “Julia” Butler and Julia’s children: Andrew Mahoney, Hannah Butler, and Elizabeth Butler.
