Erma “Jackie” Davis, 72, of Campobello, SC passed away peacefully on November 11, 2022, after courageously fighting against the effects of COVID for over a year. She was born on April 17, 1950 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Zeb Jackson and Margaret F. McDaniel. She lived and worked for many years in Hendersonville.
Jackie is survived by her children Ron Davis (Monica), John Davis (Diane), Brian Davis (Suzanne), and Tiffany Lindsey (Richie); grandchildren Cory Davis, Miranda House (Charles), Cameron Lindsey, Megan Fish (Sebastian), Chris Roper (Andrea), Julia Bryson, Alexia Lindsey, Jaiden Davis, Kenzie Davis, Brooke Davis, Tori Davis; great grandchildren Sakura Fish and Jase Blankenship; brothers Larry Jackson and James R. McDaniel, Jr.; and a beloved large extended family.
She was also preceded in death by her Dad, James R. McDaniel, Sr., brother, Dennis Jackson, father of her children Ronald P. Davis, Sr., and her life partner Dennis Kristan.
Jackie was a professional hair stylist for many years, mainly at Studio 64 and most recently at Belles and Bows before retirement. She considered her most important life’s work raising her children and grandchildren and proudly called them her greatest accomplishment. She had a fierce love of God, family, and all kids and animals.
Per her wishes, no public memorial service is planned. Her wishes were to incorporate her ashes into a living urn for each of her children. She has chosen a Crepe Myrtle tree through https://www.thelivingurn.com/.
