Ethan Barger Obituary

Ethan Andrew Barger, age 39, died March 26,2024 at Mission Hospital in Asheville after a short illness, with his family by his side.

He was born November 30, 1984 in Sylva to Denise O’Connor and the late Doug K. Barger.

In addition to his mother, Ethan is survived by his children, Kierra and Zoe Barger of Johnson City, Tennessee; siblings, Eric Schmidt (Sarah) of Palmyra, Virginia, and Carl Schmidt (Tammy) of Raleigh, North Carolina; and nieces and nephews, Madeline and Alex Schmidt of Palmyra, Virginia, and Lorelei and Ian Schmidt of Raleigh, North Carolina.
