Eugene Edward Jung

Eugene “Gene” Jung, of Hendersonville, NC peacefully went to the Lord on Thursday, December 25, 2025 at the Solace Center in Asheville, NC. Eugene was born on March 2, 1955 to the late Edward Eugene Jung and Joan Rosalind Marion Huelle. He is survived by his children Hollie, Jonathan and Serena, 3 grandchildren, sisters, Pamela and Sherry, 3 nieces and nephew, and the many friends who will miss him.

He was a proud veteran who served in the US Army. After his service he graduated from Denver Automotive College with an ASE Certification in Auto Mechanics. He enjoyed working on cars, racing demolition cars, and traveling.

A Funeral Mass will be held for Eugene on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 10:00am in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Brian Berg Lane, Brevard, NC. Interment at NC State Veterans Cemetery immediately following.
