Evelyn Huffman

Evelyn Huffman, age 85, of Asheville, NC, passed away on March 5th, 2023.  Evelyn was born in Asheville, NC on June 22nd, 1937 to the late Thomas Williams and Margaret Williams.

Evelyn is preceded in death by both of her parents, Thomas and Margaret Williams; her husband, Joe Huffman; her son, Joey Brackett, and her brother, Lawrence Williams.  Evelyn is survived by her two daughters, Ellen and Judy, both of Asheville, NC, 4 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

A service will be held at 4:00 PM on March 11th, 2023 at Liberty Baptist Church, 875 Monte Vista Road, Candler, NC 28715.  The service will be officiated by Pastor Derrick McCarson.  An internment at Riverside Cemetery will be held at a later date.  Condolences may be made to the family at ashevillemortuaryservices.com
