Frances Blount Tullar (Fran) peacefully moved to heaven on July 14, 2025 at the age of 85. Originally from Pompano Beach, FL, she lived in Etowah, North Carolina for many years. Throughout her life, Fran had a tremendous impact on so many people. She was never one to miss out on a gathering of family and friends, and loved nothing more than having people together! The greatest joys in her life were cooking for her family, walking on the beach, and traveling around the country. She and John had a wonderful life together, and a fulfilling marriage that for decades was an example to generations of their family. They had a great passion for the church community, and loved being able to be involved in various ministries around the world.
She is survived by her husband John Tullar; daughter Nancy and son-in-law Tim Coleman; her son Barney White and son-in-law Kaz Kirishima; her sister Marian Blount Evans; her grandchildren Matthew St. Marie, Michael and Amanda St. Marie, Kiffer and Sarah St. Marie; and her great grandchildren Sawyer, Madelyn, Judah, Sophia, Noah, and Mia.
In celebration of her life, join us in a celebration at Rapha House on August 9th at 3:00pm. Please bring your memories, stories, and joyful accounts of how Fran impacted your life. There will be an opportunity to share aloud, or, if you’d rather, you can take some time to write down your memories and stories and bring them with you to be added to a Memorial Book.
