Francine Lennon Kirkpatrick-Karuba, age 66, passed away October 23, 2022, in Asheville, NC.
Francine was born October 24, 1955, in New Rochelle, NY, to the late Frances Lennon and Evelyn Lennon. She graduated with a Masters in social work from UNC Chapel Hill and focused on helping at-risk children until she retired. Francine helped countless children throughout her career. She enjoyed reading, working, talking to friends, traveling, hanging out with her grandchildren, and listening to music. Francine loved going to concerts, seeing The Rolling Stones and the The Beach Boys among others.
In addition to her parents, Francine was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Lennon.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Kelly Kirkpatrick (Keith) of Asheville, NC, Justin Kirkpatrick (Caroline) of Valdosta, GA, and Rebecca Heilbraun of Charlotte, NC; her sister, Molly Washburn (Mark) of Helena, AL; her grandchildren, Lexi Kirkpatrick of Valdosta, GA, Harrison Jobe of Asheville, NC, and Charlie Kirkpatrick of Valdosta, GA; loved one Tracy Richardson of Orlando, FL; and extended family and many friends.
