Gail Humphries Blackledge, 84, of Weaverville, NC passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 in Asheville, NC.

Gail was born on December 30, 1940, in Asheville, NC, to the late Lester Humphries and Annie Humphries. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Tom and Don Humphries.

Gail attended Clyde A. Erwin High School in Asheville, NC. She was a resident of Arden, Lowell, and Kings Mountain before she moved to Weaverville, NC.

Surviving Gail are her children, Deborah Bruce of Weaverville, NC and David Bradley (Jenny) of Mars Hill, NC; grandchildren, Liam Bradley of Mars Hill, NC, Joshua Bruce of Weaverville, NC, Grayson Bruce (Vanessa) of New Bern, NC, Gabriel Bruce of Weaverville, NC, Harmony Bruce of Billings, MT, Bella Grace Bruce of Billings, MT, Alyssa Rice (Doug), Sloane Rice of KY, and Morgan Glenn of Mars Hill, NC.
