Gary L. Buzby

Obituary

            Gary L. Buzby of Marion, North Carolina, passed Tuesday, July 19, 2022. Born July 24, 1953, to the late Carl and Mary Buzby in New Castle, Indiana, Gary was sixty-eight.

            Gary was a previous resident of Canton, North Carolina, and Citrus County, Florida. He was a master of many trades, always striving for more knowledge. There was very little he did not know how to do. Gary had an abundance of kindness and generosity toward others. He truly loved his family and the Lord.

            In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his sister, Carla Buzby.

            He is survived by Nancy B. Buzby, to whom he was married thirty-five years; children, Brian and Richard Buzby of Crystal River, Florida, Kristopher Hack (Amanda) of Waynesville, North Carolina, Toby Hack Murray of Cape Charles, Virginia, Stacie Pedrick (Len) of Ocala, Florida, and Geoffrey Hack (Lesley) of Roxboro, North Carolina; brother, George Buzby (Joan) of Port Richey, Florida; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and by several nieces and nephews.

            A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gary’s name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
