George (G.H.) Herbert Clark

George “G.H.” Herbert Clark, 85, of Candler, NC passed away on October 20, 2025 at the Charles George VA Medical Center. Born on November 5, 1939, in Sandy Mush, NC to the late Archie Clark and Dollie Clark.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his son, Fred Clark.

George proudly served in the United States Army.

Surviving is his loving spouse of 62 years, Rose Marie Clark of Candler, NC; sisters, Marie Duckett of Leicester, NC, and Kathy Schrader of Leicester, NC.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at the Charles George VA Medical Center for their extraordinary care and compassion during this difficult time.
