Gregory Dixon Qualls

    Gregory Dixon Qualls, 61, of Asheville, passed away, Monday, June 8, 2020, at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center.

     Mr. Qualls was born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, on August 16, 1958, to Dixon and Landy Qualls. He was a graduate of Enka High School. He enjoyed snow skiing, tennis, and playing his guitar. He will be greatly missed.

     Those left to cherish his memory include his life partner of 33 years, Pam Chandler of Candler, NC; his parents, Dixon and Landy Qualls of Chapel Hill, NC; a daughter, Candice Qualls Howard and husband Larry of Raleigh, NC; two brothers, Gary Qualls and wife Rhonda of Chapel Hill and Chris Qualls and wife Anna Weinstein of Auburn, Alabama; two grandsons, Isaiah Howard and Jacob Howard, both of Raleigh; a niece, Brezny Weening of Apex, NC; three nephews, Jordan Qualls of Durham, NC, Abraham Weinstein Qualls and Gabriel Weinstein Qualls, both of Auburn, AL; an uncle Dave Brown & wife Pam of Raleigh, NC; son of life partner, Charles Chandler of Raleigh, NC; and daughter of life partner, Stephanie Chandler of Rutherfordton, NC.
