Harriett Branson Obituary

Harriett Marie Lacasse Branson, age eighty-five, passed Thursday, September 2, 2021, at her home.

Harriett was born June 6, 1936, to Thelma Marie Steinmann Lacasse and Robert Louis Lacasse in Teaneck, New Jersey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, CB Branson.

Surviving Harriett are her children, Linda Soesbee and her husband Michael, Cindy Branson, Tim Branson and his wife Marcia, and Scott Branson; sister, Hertha Knight; and her grandchildren, Sarah Klutz, her husband Zack and their children Rylan and Skyler, Drake Branson, his wife Julz, and their daughter Noa, Leslie Soesbee, Chas Branson, and Annette Sieger, her husband Steve, and their son Branson.

Interment will be at Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, at a time still to be determined. Memorials may be made in Harriett’s honor to CarePartners Hospice and Palliative Care (68 Sweeten Creek Road, Asheville, North Carolina 28803).
