Hoyt Meryl Owen

Hoyt Meryl Owen, aged 76, of Alexander, NC, passed away February 26, 2024.

Hoyt was born November 28, 1947, to the late Ira Owen and Iva Lee Galloway. He serviced in the Army until being medically discharged.

Hoyt is preceded in passing by his siblings, Geraldine Fisher, Willa J. Norris, Ernestine Ward, Josephine Smith, Carroll Owen, Daniel Owen and Donald Owen.

Hoyt is survived by his siblings, David G. Owen of Thomasville, NC and Christine Shelton of Lake Toxaway, NC; and caregiver, Darren Lacky of Leicester, NC.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
