James Brown

    James David Brown of Asheville, North Carolina, died September 27, 2023. Born October 12, 1978, to the late Glenda Lee Smith Brown and Lawrence James Brown in Meridian, Mississippi, David was forty-four.

            David loved gardening and animals, and worked as a pet groomer. He had a huge heart and loved his family and friends dearly. He had a smile that could light up any room. David was passionate about anything he put his mind to. He loved the outdoors and spending time with people. He loved his mom and dad. David was loved by everyone who met him.

            In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a nephew, Richie D. Williams.

            He is survived by his siblings, Floria Williams (David Williams) of Asheville, Angelique Parton of Ellenboro, North Carolina, Tina Packer (Bill Packer) of Wyoming, Michigan, Rita Rightmire of San Ramone, California, Mike Brown (Debra Brown) of Asheville, and Jeff Brown of Asheville; and nieces and nephews, Christina Williams of Asheville, and Brandon, Dakota and Levi Parton all of Ellenboro.
