James Luther, age fifty-five, died Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at his home in Hot Springs, North Carolina.
James was born to Velta Jean Miller Luther and Thomas Paul Luther in Little Rock Arkansas on January 14, 1965. Before moving to Hot Springs a year ago, James was a resident of Buncombe County, North Carolina. He was a woodworker and a fisherman. James loved to be outdoors with friends and family, his main interest being spending time with his grandson, Thomas.
James was preceded in death by both of his parents.
He is survived by his daughter, Heather Crain, and her husband Roy of Marshall, North Carolina; two brothers, Thomas Luther II and his wife Ann, and Michael Luther and his wife Aurora, all of Canton, Ohio; a grandson, Merritt Thomas Crain of Marshall, North Carolina, and his two step grandchildren, Mackenzie Dillon Crain and Patrick Jeramiah Crain of Fletcher, North Carolina; nephew Tommy Luther and nieces Holly Luther, Meaghen Luther and Kaighlee Luther, all of Canton, Ohio.
