James Albert Miller

James Albert Miller, 68, of Leicester, NC passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at his home. Born October 26, 1957 in Asheville, NC, he was a son of the late Vestal and Peggy Miller. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his spouse, Teresa Miller; and siblings, Lynn Miller, Barry Miller, and Randy Miller. He was known for his love of his wife, Teresa, and for spoiling his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition, he was a fabulous story teller and devoted NASCAR fan. Surviving are his children, James Michael Miller and his spouse, Kerrie, and Joseph Daniel Miller and his spouse, Angelita; sister, Sherry Rice; aunt, Laura Ward; grandchildren, Austin, Anthony, Kellie, Skyler, and Mikey; and great-grandchildren, Kourtney “Scooter”, Tyson, Lilli, and Harrison; and several nieces and nephews. He will be laid to rest beside his wife in a private ceremony. The family would like to acknowledge Mary Kate with hospice for all of the compassion and care that she provided James.
