James "Jim" Marion Reeves

James “Jim” Marion Reeves, of Brevard, North Carolina passed away in his home on January 25th, 2023, after suffering a brief illness. 

Jim loved hunting and fishing and being outdoors. He was a carpenter by trade. He loved seafood and shrimp, but his favorite thing was catfish. 

From Haines City, FL, Jim was the son of the late Cleyon Vernon Reeves and Harley Virginia Reeves, and brother of Emory Martin of Polk City, FL. Jim is preceded in death by his wife, Vickey Bentley Reeves, and a son, Timothy James Reeves.

Surviving are his children, son, Jackson and his wife, Lorinda, their two children Kennedy and Mason Reeves, and daughter, Melissa Reeves, granddaughter Kali Reeves Waters and her husband, Dustin, and their son Bohdi Waters. He also had lots of other special children through the years in his life who considered him their Pawpaw Jim.
