Jason Henry Laliberte, 45, passed away unexpectedly on January 20, 2020 at home in Arden, North Carolina.
Jason is survived by his father, Hank Laliberte of Arden, North Carolina and his mother Joyce Willrett of Overland Park, Kansas. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Albert Laliberte, Claudette Laliberte, Muriel Wesley, and Marc Laliberte, as well as his cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Henry and Gilbette Laliberte, maternal grandparents, Aurora and Alfred Knittel, step-grandmother Mary Knittel, uncle Ronald Laliberte and fiancée Jelia Rahimi.
Jason was born in Manchester, New Hampshire, on September 8, 1974. Jason attended various schools in Comox, British Columbia, Canada, Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and then in Orlando, Florida where he spent most of his childhood through high school. After spending a period of time back in New Hampshire and Massachusetts with his fiancée, Jason attended New England Tractor Trailer Training School in Somers, Connecticut then obtained his Commercial Drivers License. He enjoyed his work as truck driver for several trucking companies in Massachusetts and North Carolina. Jason was hoping to eventually start his own trucking company in the future.
After suffering a major injury to his leg in a motorcycle accident and two years of rehabilitation, Jason moved to Arden, North Carolina to be with his Father.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Fletcher United Methodist Church.
