Jay Neugin Obituary

Jay David Neugin of Bryson City, North Carolina, passed March 20, 2021, at the age sixty-six.

Jay was born May 6, 1954, to Maxine Shade Neugin and David Neugin in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He graduated from Hulbert High School. Jay was a fisherman, storyteller, and expert Bigfoot hunter. He enjoyed playing with his grandkids and just being with his family, and hunting arrowheads.

Jay was preceded in death by his father and by a son, Jay Neugin III.

He is survived by his mother; wife, Jeanne Kay Warren; children Jodi Adair of Peggs, Oklahoma, and James Neugin (Wendy Neugin) of Bryson City, North Carolina; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers and a sister; countless nieces and nephews; and dear friends. He was loved by all.

A private service will be held in remembrance.
