Jennice Jones Karrh

Jennice Jones Karrh, born October 22, 1934 in Gainesville, FL, died peacefully on February 20,

2024 in Asheville where she’d been a resident for over 5 years. She was predeceased by her

parents John Hall Jones and Irene Alice Ward and her granddaughter Jacqueline Karrh. She

graduated in 1956 with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Howard College in Birmingham,

Alabama.

Jennice is survived by her husband Will Richardson Karrh and their three children Richard Brent

Karrh, Dale Roderick Karrh, and Alan Scott Karrh, as well as her sister Jo Alice Halsell. She has

seven amazing grandchildren: Madison, Bryant, Mitchell, Cassidy, Dylan, Jessie, and Natalie. 

Jennice loved being with her husband Bill and her beautiful family more than anything. She

shared her infectious smile and vibrant wardrobe everywhere she went and spread cheer to all. In

her spare time she enjoyed reading, writing, telling jokes, and sipping on her favorite wines. She

loved to send cards to her loved ones on birthdays and holidays. In her younger days she loved to

play golf and was one of the finest putters at Scottsboro Country Club in Alabama. 

Her Service was held on February 25, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Bella Vista retirement community,

located at 55 Piney Mountain Drive in Asheville, NC 28805
