Jennifer Lee McDaris

            Jennifer McDaris of Asheville, North Carolina, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, November 28, 2022. Born July 19, 1958, to the late Henry and Virginia McDaris, Jennifer was sixty-four.

            Jennifer graduated with AC Reynolds High Class of 1976. She was a member of Trinity of Fairview for many years. Jennifer loved music of all kinds, mostly worship songs. She loved to travel and spend time with her family. Her love and pride for her daughters and grandsons shined through each conversation she had with anyone. 

            In addition to her parents, Jennifer was preceded in death by brothers Chuck and David McDaris.

            She is survived by her children, Rachel Owensby (Lawrence) and Rebekah Morris (Norman) of Asheville; sister, Cindy Gibson (Steve) of Fletcher; grandchildren, Jacob Carson and Isaiah Morris both of Asheville; and several nephews, great-nephews and great-nieces.

            A service is being planned to take place at Trinity of Fairview officiated by Pastor Stacey Harris. Service details are to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Trinity of Fairview.

            The family is grateful for the committed care from Memorial Mission Hospital’s “LVAD Team” and amazing staff.
